Alberto Cuocolo

Alberto Cuocolo is a Professor of Diagnostic Imaging in the Department of Biomorphological and Functional Sciences, Director of the Specialisation School in Nuclear Medicine and Chief of the Cardiac Imaging Clinical Center at the University of Naples Federico II. He is Past President of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM). 

RESEARCH ACTIVITY 
The research activity is documented by over 300 publications, most of them on international journals with strict editorial control: 255 articles published in journals surveyed on the Index Medicus / Pub Med, over 50 book chapters, monographs, deeds of congresses and treaties. He is the author or co-author of over 350 report summaries and communications at international congresses and over 300 reports and reports communications to national congresses. He has organized, directs and coordinates a group of young researchers and fellows of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging e Radiotherapy of the University of Naples Federico II and of the section of Bio-images of the Institute of Biostructures and Bio-images of the National Council of the Searches. The activity of the research group he directed and coordinated is documented by the production of numerous scientific publications, most of them published in important international magazines with strict editorial control. The quality of the business of research carried out by prof. Alberto Cuocolo and from the research group he coordinated is documented by a total impact factor value greater than 950 and by over 4200 citations in the international scientific literature with an h-index of 35 (Cited Reference Search - ISI Web of Science).
