Biography
Dr Raymond Kwong is the director of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH)and an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS).
Dr Kwong received his medical degree from University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine at Vancouver General Hospital and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at The George Washington University Hospital. He then completed a cardiac MRI fellowship program at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institutes of Health.
Dr Kwong has authored over 130 peer-reviewed publications. His clinical interests and research focus on cardiac imaging, specifically the use of cardiac MRI to assess ventricular remodeling after acute myocardial infarction.
