The trial assessed the hypothesis that atrioventricular (AV) junction ablation in conjunction biventricular pacing pacing is superior to pharmacological rate-control therapy in reducing heart failure (HF) and hospitalization in patients with permanent atrial fibrillation (AF) and narrow QRS.
