Question 1 : What is the fellow course at JIM and what are the benefits?

[Moses] Well, fellows courses are essential, when you realise the environment that fellows learn in. Usually they're in a single centre, and every centre has it's own culture and idiosyncrasies, and it's very important for fellows to interact with their peer group and to compare notes, and also to hear from a diverse group of practitioners who can really give their take on the current evidence and interpret it for them so they can integrate it into their practise. 

Question 2 : Please talk us through the history of and your involvement at JIM?

[Moses]  Well, I've had the pleasure of being involved in JIM since it's inception. And first of all, from it's earliest age, JIM's focus purely on case... live cases, has made it really one of the most fun and exciting meetings, because there's nothing more than watching live cases, which is like watching people on a high-wire over and over again. But also, the beauty of it is, Antonio and Eberhard have been pioneers in techniques and technologies. And you can literally trace the entire history of our field over the last two decades by looking at just, looking at the recordings of all the cases from JIM. There was an incredible amount of pioneering work that was presented here for the first time. So it's always been an exciting meeting. And the last part of course, is the personalities of the individuals involved. Who are just, besides being innovators and great doctors, just wonderful people to work with. And just fun and humane, at the same time. So it's just been a great experience for the last 20 years and I hope we can keep it going.
