Overview
Rhythm Interventions Online (RIO) is a new innovative virtual event that brought together a leading international faculty to create a rich, interactive experience to best inform the global electrophysiology community of the latest developments and advances in clinical practice.
Led by Course Director, Prof Richard Schilling, Barts Heart Centre, London, and delivered through a crafted programme of discussion, opinion, and live cases from leading international centres, RIO's programme comprised twelve hours of best-in-class learning over three days, in addition to symposia and breakout sessions.

Faculty Biographies
Haran Burri
Associate Professor
Prof. Haran Burri works in the University Hospital of Geneva (CH) and is responsible for cardiac device therapy. He has been intensively involved in the educational activities of the European Heart Rhythm Association and the European Society of cardiology. He has performed clinical research in cardiac device therapy and electrophysiology while having published many scientific articles.
Lucas Boersma
Professor
Dr Lucas Boersma is a cardiologist/electrophysiologist at St. Antonius Hospital Nieuwegein and a Professor of Cardiology at the University of Amsterdam. In his research, Dr Boersma has primarily focused on transcatheter treatment of atrial fibrillation.
Carlo de Asmundis
Professor
Dr Carlo de Asmundis is a professor in Cardiology at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Chair of Heart Rhythm Management Center at Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel and Director of Postgraduate program in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
